Construction began in 2003 with the development of phase 1 which was opened in 2004. The village its self when finished will consist of two court yards which can be seen in the pictures to the left. The third phase which consists of 12, 6 bedroom houses contained in a circle which is still under construction. It is due to be completed by Christmas. The new village will also include a section of houses which will cater for the retired people of the area. There will be a small hotel built nearer the road, and retail outlets for local businesses. A new round-a-bout has been built on the N69 just after Clarina village to allow people to enter the new section of the village and to take some of the traffic away from the 4 cross roads in the middle of the village. |
