The Thursday club celebrated their eleventh year in existence on Thursday March1 at the Dunraven Arms Hotel after dinner the group of 38 enjoyed an evening of music song and dance the music was provided by Josephine O'Grady, Ann Reidy and Noreen Cusack. The songs and jokes were provided by our usual singers who entertain us each week at the club. A beautiful birthday cake was made by Margo Murphy and Ron and Eithne Byrne cut the cake. We are still going strong after the 11 years even though we have sadly lost some members down through the years. Get well wishes to those members who are at present sick and a speedy recovery to all you are missed at the club. The Easter Raffle is in full swing and we would ask the public to support it the draw will take place at the club on April 5. On April 5 we are also planning an Easter Bonnet Competition and the ladies are busy getting their bonnets ready.
Stay Active, Keep Healthy, Walk Tall and be Proud.
